This conversation is about Casey’s latest book The Gift of Restlessness: A Spirituality for Unsettled Seasons. Casey talks about how the irritated & unsettled places of life are actually the places of spiritual transformation - if we’d only learn to stick around and learn from that restlessness.
Casey is also the host of the Restlessness Is a Gift podcast where he discusses the ways in which the restlessness of human life is actually a wonderful wilderness where we meet the Divine.

Mindfully Being Well with Brittney Fehr
Apr 3, 2023

1 hr 17 min
Brittney is a clinical counselor, a certified meditation guide, and a registered yoga teacher. Meditation, Yoga (Philosophy and Asanas), cognitive psychology, neurobiology, and counseling have been the tools that have helped her to befriend her suffering and sometimes heal from it.
Her connection to meditation and Yoga began to deepen about 10 years ago in an attempt to heal from workplace burnout and maladaptive coping strategies. For the last 4 years, she has been sharing the physical practice of Yoga and meditation with folks from all walks of life through her online community Mindfully Being Well, as a corporate wellness facilitator, and as a trauma-informed Yoga teacher trainer at Yoga Outreach. Now, as a trauma-informed clinical counselor, she works collaboratively with clients utilizing mind-body connection and relationship to support full body, heart, and mind healing and integration.
In the context of mindfulness, mediation, and Yoga, Brittney feels that it is important to locate herself within a sociocultural context to acknowledge that these sacred philosophies and practices are not part of her ethnic or cultural heritage.
Brittney is originally from a rural community in the interior of what is colonially known as British Columbia. Her father's family came to Turtle Island from what was then Prussia at the end of the 1700s. They were Mennonite pacifists and were fleeing religious persecution and military inscription. Her mother's parents are of Irish, Scottish, German, British, and Cowichan descent. She was the first in her immediate family to graduate high school, university.
Brittney’s understanding, practice, and teaching of mindfulness, meditation and Yoga are earnest and with deep gratitude for her teachers' teachers.

Pranav’s mission in life has always been to help elevate people.
To fulfill that mission, during the day, Pranav works as a STEM + Entrepreneurship coach to help ambitious teens make a difference in the world through The Knowledge Society. In the evenings, he works as a Men’s Work Facilitator for the Arka Brotherhood - a transformative community for growth-oriented men that inspires men to grow, improve their relationships, and take accountability for their lives.
For the last few years, Pranav has also had a passion for working with vulnerable populations. He started that journey as a youth coach @ the East End Boys Club - a group that provides marginalized young men (Ages 12-21) the support systems and mentorship to thrive in life, no matter the circumstances. And after a few years moved onto volunteering as a Crisis/Suicide Line Phone Worker, holding space for folks that that want to be heard at a time of crisis.
Pranav’s eyes light up any time you mention working with kids or helping men on their healing journeys! So if you ever catch him in person, make sure to ask him about that!
